Using personal objects - an old suitcase, a bicycle wheel, food, pages torn from journals - he carefully arranges them to create intimate scenes that are filled with ambiguity and hidden symbolism. Like a visual notebook, the artist conceives each image as a mental picture, crafting and editing its content before taking the photograph.
