Matteo Callegari
|
Matteo Callegari (b. Latisana, Italy) is part of a resurgence of abstract painting in New York City. His expressive and chaotic style, along with with a grey-meets-neon colour palette, take inspiration from the streets of the city. While attending the Hunter College MFA program (2009-2011), Callegari debuted in the group show 'Forgotten in the Smile' at Envoy Enterprises. The artist currently lives and works in New York.
