Jean-Pascal Flavien
|
The French artist Jean-Pascal Flavien’s series of drawings portray scenes where dinosaurs evolve and move within their natural habitats, coexisting disconcertingly close to architectural structures. Flavien’s landscapes gather heterogeneous space elements, causing anachronisms, glimpses of a period in time. In this respect, some of the drawings are more explicitly evocative of science fiction.
In these impressions of Flavien’s red world, one perceives a collapse, a disappearance, a slow transformation.
