Jan Hendrix
|
Jan Hendrix (1949, Maasbree, The Netherlands) has achieved international recognition for his work in a wide range of materials. Having lived in France, Portugal, Norway and Ireland, the artist is curently based in Mexico and is considered one of the country's most recognised graphic artists. Hendrix’s projects include collaborations with leading book authors, among them Seamus Heaney, W. G. Sebald, and Gabriel García Márquez. His work is included in important collections such as the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes and the Finance Secretariat in Mexico, and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague; as well as museums including the Bibliothèque Nationale, Paris, and Fundación Cultural Televisa, Mexico.
