A Faint Hope Beyond the Fear of Death is from the series New Religion, and is a continuation of Hirst’s fascination with death, medicine, faith and belief. Damien Hirst graduated from Goldsmiths and proceeded to win the Turner Prize in 1995, he continues to shock, entertain and educate. Hirst works with a variety of media, but is probably best known for his series involving animals preserved in formaldehyde.
