This photograph from the Obstructed View series, portrays an interior. There is a suggestion of the outside or, more rightly so, of the relationship between the inside and the outside. The photographer Dafna Talmor graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2004 and her work is in collections from London, Paris, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Toronto, Caracas, Buenos Aires to Tel-Aviv. Talmor’s photographs are a combination of something simultaneously staged and unstaged in the sense that the action (or non-action, depending on the photograph) is staged and the surroundings are made up of partially implanted elements and objects along with already present (or found) ones.
